TIAA is distinct from other providers because we are a specialist business assurance organisation rather than a general accountancy firm.
Providing assurance for over 25 years
TIAA began trading in 1995, and since then, we have grown significantly. We have taken on the operations of several other business assurance providers, making us specialists in various sectors, and turning us into a nationwide operator with a multi-million pound turnover.
Originally formed by a consortium of housing associations to meet the specialist internal audit needs of the social housing sector, we are now one of the largest business assurance providers to this sector. Today we provide business assurance services across Housing, the NHS and Healthcare, Local and Central Government, Education, Charities, and blue light sectors.
We are comprised of six Directorates, including three risk and assurance, two risk and advisory and a centralised corporate services team. We have national Digital Assurance, Anti-Crime, Security Management and Digital Forensic teams. With offices across England, Wales and Scotland, we can offer you a genuinely local service.
We continue to go from strength to strength, gaining new clients and enjoying a high rate of reappointment by current clients. TIAA stands out in the field because we are not an accountancy firm, but a specialist provider of internal audit, anti-crime and assurance and advisory services. We have a strong reputation for providing an intelligent service, rather than a ‘tick box’ solution.
