Graduate Auditors – 3 positions available

  • 1 Graduate to cover the Surrey and London region – based from our Merstham office
  • 1 Graduate to cover the East Anglia Region – based from our Long Bennington office
  • 1 Graduate to cover the Midlands Region – ideally based in the Birmingham area

We are looking to appoint three Graduates, preferably who have some work experience outside of education and are ready to start their careers within Internal Audit.

At TIAA we are able to provide you with a real career springboard. Our Auditors have to be first and foremost talented individuals with great interpersonal skills, which are adaptable in a variety of business environments. This is an exciting opportunity for Graduates who are analytically minded, can think outside the box and is looking for a varied and interesting career.

The ideal candidate will be quick to learn, highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and with a mature attitude. Strong verbal communication skills are essential as you will be communicating at all levels, often speaking with clients explaining complex information. This is not a 9 – 5 office-based job, but rather a real career opener working at a number of different locations each week.

The role of the Graduate Auditor is to assist more senior audit staff in carrying out a wide range of reviews at public and private sector organisations. The reviews carried out are ascertaining whether the processes are operating as intended and also identifying opportunities to operate more effectively. These reviews will not only include finance systems but also health and council processes and activities. Consequently, skills and experience you may have gained in a wider range of non-financial business settings will be a real asset.

The roles require travel predominantly throughout the designated regions, but may require work further afield now and again so an ability to drive and to have access to a vehicle is essential.

At TIAA, we believe in creating a supportive workplace where employees are encouraged to develop their careers. We offer a very competitive package with opportunities for further advancement. This includes a study package to enable you to obtain a professional audit qualification as well as extensive in-house training.
