Peter specialises in chairing and authoring safeguarding reviews, particularly Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDRs), with extensive expertise in mental health, the Care Act, and domestic abuse legislation. He has worked with multiple Community Safety Partnerships, led reviews across 42 local authorities, and delivered national training for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. His experience also includes restructuring intelligence operations for HM Immigration Service and conducting cold case reviews for Hampshire and Surrey Police.
Previously a Detective Chief Inspector with the Metropolitan Police Service, Peter chaired safeguarding boards, led multi-agency initiatives, and drove operational efficiencies. He is a Subject Matter Expert and Associate of the College of Policing on safeguarding reviews and now works with TIAA to help clients improve organisational culture.
Mark Alexander Wolski
Mark brings over three decades of experience in policing and nine years in senior local authority leadership, specialising in community safety and safeguarding. As an independent chair of Domestic Homicide Reviews and author of multiple safeguarding reviews across England,
Mark has a unique perspective on how lessons from these reviews can shape leadership culture. His career spans strategic transformation, risk management, and multi-agency collaboration, with a focus on putting vulnerable people at the heart of decision-making.
