Fiona Roe (FCCA, ACCA)

Fiona is one of TIAA’s Director – Risk and Assurance, having joined the company in 2016 following a career which gives her nearly three decades of extensive internal audit and management experience. Fiona is a member of the Senior Management Team, with responsibility for delivering the company’s strategic objectives.

Leading and supporting a team of highly professional specialists, as the Head of Internal Audit, Fiona consistently delivers to her portfolio of clients across a range of different public sector organisations that span local government, NHS, housing, further education and the police service. As a member of the London Audit Group and Police Audit Group Fiona has unique and in-depth knowledge into national sector issues which informs her work with clients to improve systems and processes ensuring continuous improvement and value for money.

Fiona has significantly contributed to the design and fulfilling of client control systems to provide robust assurance to their audit committees, which ultimately improves not only the operational performance for our clients but our overall service delivery.
