Clarion housing association are working urgently with its cyber security partner to restore systems after being hit by a cyber-attack, affecting its IT systems and phone lines.
- Clarion said that it is too early to tell whether tenant data has been impacted at this stage.
- Staff noticed disruptions to systems and notified residents informing them on the system issue.
- Landlord stated the attack affected a number of its phones lines and is advising residents not to contact by phone unless booking emergency repairs.
- The landlord has said that, at this stage, there is no evidence to suggest tenants should contact their bank about the attack and will inform residents if the investigation deems any action necessary.
Rent and service charge payment systems have not been affected by the attack.
