Heatherview Medical Centre carried out an evacuation of patients and staff at two sites following bomb threats received by telephone.

Emergency calls were made to Dorset Police at around 2.35pm on Monday, November 3rd after reportedly receiving the threats at the Heatherview Medical Centre in Poole, Dorset.

The practice evacuated the site as well as its linked centre, Fernside Surgery, in Hennings Park Road in Poole.

Police have confirmed that it is investigating the incident, but that nothing of concern has been found.

Dorset Police said there is nothing to indicate any wider risk to the public.

A spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a call at 2.35pm on Monday 3 November 2025 of a reported security threat at the Heatherview Medical Centre in Alder Road in Poole.

“It was reported that staff had made the decision to evacuate the premises as well as the linked Fernside Surgery in Hennings Park Road.

“Nothing of concern has been located at this time and there is nothing to indicate any wider risk to the public. Officers are carrying out further enquiries into this matter.”
