What do contracting authorities need to know about the new Procurement Act?

Public Procurement as we know it fundamentally changed on 24 February 2024, when the new Procurement Act came into force. This is the biggest change to Public Procurement Law in England, Wales and Northern Ireland in a generation. The scale and breadth of change should not be underestimated and will require new information systems and a transformation to ways of working across the whole organisation, not just within the Procurement Function / Legal Department.

This new legislation is also a huge opportunity for better buying. Procurement is not just about cost control. Sound governance and a strategic approach to procurement can deliver huge benefits.

Join us on this free Webinar briefing when we will be discussing the impact this new legislation will have on contracting authorities and how senior management, Audit Committees, Trustees and others in governance roles should prepare for its implementation.
